doesn’t just limit his knowledge and expertise to selling real estate. He has had a passion for the DESIGN/BUILD process for years. In his early professional career he found himself working for two local architectural firms. Over those years, combined with his college education, he was taught the construction design process, eventually focusing specifically on Custom Residential Blueprint Design. In the year 2004 he started his very own Blueprint Design Firm. This firm, D-Blackwell LLC, is still open and thriving today designing on average

over 50 projects each year. He also obtained his West Virginia Residential Contractors License shortly after that, allowing him to better understand how projects go together and are built. Having worked under two former architects he understands there is a big difference between a licensed architect and a blueprint designer. The West Virginia Board of Architects govern what types of projects can be worked on by NON licensed architects. Please reference the website www.brdarch.wv.gov for a list of projects D-Blackwell LLC is permitted to work on. To find that list go to the website, click on Rules & Laws, then click on the Chapter 30, Article 12, Architects link. This will open a PDF link, scroll down to 30-12-12 Exceptions to find the list of projects. If your project falls into one of these exceptions then D-Blackwell LLC is ready to work with you.
