Three words that set the foundation for the creation of Blackwell Realty Group LLC. Broker/Owner, Duane Blackwell, has spent the majority of his professional life gaining EXPERTISE & KNOWLEDGE in all three of those areas. Born and raised is Southern Harrison County he appreciates small town living but has big city ideas. After acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology from Fairmont State University, with an emphasis on Construction/Blueprint Design, he started his very own Blueprint Design Firm. This firm, D-Blackwell LLC, is still thriving today after 20 Plus Years, designing on average over 50 residential and small commercial projects each year.

Designing projects was one thing, but there was still a thirst to learn more, so he decided to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University as well as becoming a Licensed West Virginia Residential Contractor. This allowed him to understand the ins and outs of running a business and exactly how the projects he was designing are built. Loaded with the knowledge and information about DESIGNING and BUILDING structures it seemed obvious that the only piece missing was to learn to also SELL those properties. That being said, he became a Licensed Real Estate Agent/Broker in 2009, giving him now 14 Plus Years of real estate experience and opening the door to forming Blackwell Realty Group LLC in spring of 2022. BRG is North Central West Virginia’s newest full service real estate company, ready to work with buyers and sellers throughout this area. Blackwell Realty Group plans and strives to add agents with diverse professional and personal backgrounds to assist all buyers and sellers with their real estate needs.
